Classification and nomenclature of orthoses for the extremities and vertebral column

The purpose of the research was to improve the base of normative documents and methodological materials, which take into account international approaches to classification of one of the most numerous groups of products for disabled people. The article reports results of the work to actualize the nomenclatural list of orthoses for the upper and lower extremities and vertebral column and form a catalogue of these production groups for those specialists, who are involved in the process of providing the disabled with technical means of rehabilitation.
