Abstract

Article is devoted to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, Doctor of medical sciences, Professor, Head of the Chair of Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Military surgery of the Kharkiv Medical Institute V. F. Trubnikov (1924–1995). His scientific works have become a significant contributions to the development of the domestic medicine. Under the guidance of Prof. V. F. Trubnikov there were written 3 postdoctoral and 19 PhD theses. Authors report on the main milestones of his scientific activities, educational merits and human qualities.
