The correction of the pathological posture and gait in patients with infantile cerebral palsy using a functional cycle device

The purpose of the present research was to study the effect of special exercises on the state of tonus, endurance, muscular strength and correction of a pathological motor stereotype with help of a functional cycle device. The analysis of the study results confirmed that a combination of balneophysiotherapeutic, mud factors with exercises on a special device prevented the development of pain reflex syndromes and painful spasms of muscles, contributed to a better efficacy and quality of the therapy, given to children with infantile cerebral palsy, on the whole.
