A technique for treating fractures of the clavicle in children with help of a device for repositioning and fixing

The purpose of the present work was to improve results of treatment of fractures of the clavicle in patients with contraindications for surgical treatment. A noninvasive method and a device for reposition and fixing of fractures of the clavicle with a displacement of fragments in children were developed. The authors managed to achieve a complete reposition of fragments in 71.9 % of patients. The device is recommended for use along with other methods of conservative treatment.
