Stiffness of osteosynthesis of high tibial valgus osteotomy with Puddu bone plates of old and new designs and TomoFix plate was studied. Full load on the extremity immediately after high corrective valgus osteotomy of the tibia was impossible with any of the above implants. Decreased loading of the extremity by walking with a stick made it possible to reduce the stresses, which acted in the “bone – implant” system, osteosynthesis with TomoFix plate with osteoplasty of the defect providing a sufficient stability of fixation of bone fragments.References
