Abstract

The article contains results of the surgical treatment of congenital funnel chest deformity in 27 patients, who were treated with trassternal implants. As a result, it was revealed that the new implant made it possible to achieve a considerable correction of the deformity without any traumatism of the pleura and thoracic organs, as well as to avoid the development of the implant instability due to its cutting through the bone tissue.
