Abstract

The article describes a case of successful treatment of  a neurosarcoma of the sciatic nerve. Preoperative planning with use of computer-assisted and magnetic resonance examinations from two approaches and ligation of the internal iliac artery was followed by isolation and removal of the tumour from the pelvic cavity ectad. The authors inform about the postoperative treatment, the given course of radiotherapy and a relapse.
