Abilities of contrast spiral arthrography in diagnosing internal impairments of the knee joint

Abstract

The article contains statistical data about internal damages of the knee joint, grounds indications and methodology of the knee joint investigation with help of spiral computed arthrography, and describes the authors’ own experience of using the above method on the basis of their examination of 96 patients with such pathology. It is proved that the above methodology can be recommended as a reliable low-invasive diagnostic procedure in damages of the knee joint side by side with MRI, US diagnosis and diagnostic arthroscopy. Examples of the most common damages with the above localization are given.
