lumbar spinal stenosis, inferior vena cava stenosis, haemodynamic indicesAbstract
The effect, produced by haemodynamic indices of the inferior vena cava on the pathogenesis of neurogenic claudication in patients with spinal lumbar stenosis, was examined. The studied parameters of the inferior vena cava haemodynamics in cases of spinal lumbar stenosis with neurogenic claudication showed that the cross-section area of the inferior vena cava was significantly less, and parameters of blood flow rate and venous pressure were considerably higher than in patients without neurogenic intermittent claudication.
