A rating system is suggested for assessing the contribution of separate anatomical formations of the elbow joint for ensuring its stability. The quantitative index, composed by a sum of points of rating assessments for separate anatomical formations of the joint, can be used as a classification criterion, which makes it possible to define degrees of the joint stability loss. This above index can be useful for planning treatment tactics and serve as the basis for correcting the above tactics with regard for changes in the index value during step-by-step restoration of separate anatomical structures.
