Analysis of disability caused by injuries of the upper extremities in Ukraine during 2011

The article deals with analysis of disability caused by injuries of the upper extremities in Ukraine during 2011 depending upon the patients’ gender and age, the kind, character and localization of injuries, as well as by the degree of vital activity restriction. The 3rd group of disability was recognized in 85.7 % of casualties, the 2nd one in 12.3 %, and the 1st one in 2 %. The majority of the disabled people (90.7 %) were at their working age.References
